Message from the Founder
Wholehearted Support for Your Study Abroad Journey in the U.S.
Hello, I’m Naomi Sekiguchi, the founder of TGI Study USA.
After graduating from high school in Japan, I came to the United States to study. I began at a language school, then transferred to a community college, and later completed my degree at a four-year university.
Although I struggled with language and cultural differences at first, the support I received from others helped me overcome challenges and carve my own path.
Since then, I have earned a Master’s degree in Education and obtained a certificate in gifted education, building a support system that covers a wide range of educational stages—from early childhood to college admissions.
I’m currently raising two high school students while continuing to be involved in local education and parenting support activities.
I’ve also worked closely with families dealing with various challenges such as school refusal, developmental differences, and social withdrawal, always striving to provide careful, individualized support so each student can move forward with confidence.
At TGI Study USA, we not only assist with school placement, dormitories, and host families, but also provide total lifestyle support—covering medical care, transportation, shopping, insurance, and more.
Southern California offers an ideal environment for international students, with its year-round mild climate, cultural diversity, abundance of high-quality educational institutions, and access to Asian (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc.) groceries and daily essentials. From community colleges and universities to specialized programs, students can choose learning paths that align with their academic, career, or language goals.

Our team is made up entirely of mothers with firsthand parenting experience. We’ve been active in PTA activities, classroom volunteering, and local kids’ programs, and we bring that same heart and insight into the support we provide—blending a parent’s perspective with an educator’s expertise.

We support families throughout Southern California, with a special focus on the South Bay region, including Palos Verdes, Torrance, Redondo Beach, and the surrounding areas.
For community colleges, English schools, summer camps, and high schools, we primarily serve the South Bay area to provide hands-on, localized support.
For colleges and universities, students can choose from a wider range of locations across Southern California, and we’re here to help guide that search as well.
